ARCA General Tire 150

Tonight is a big night for ARCA racing in the desert at Phoenix. The ARCA General Tire 150, Phoenix Raceway, Avondale AZ, is the second race of the ARCA Menards season but it is the first race of the ARCA West season and is also the first event of the Sioux Chief Showdown. This is also the only race where we will see the ARCA Menards and ARCA West series together.

The schedule for today includes a driver and spotter meeting at 3 PM EST, an autograph session from 5:30 -6:30 PM EST, and reporting to vehicles at 7:05 PM EST.

The list of drivers is a big one as both series are represented as well as a couple of drivers from the NASCAR series.

Drivers entered in this race and who are expected to compete for the ARCA West Championship include Jake Drew, Austin Herzog who is driving full time in the West Series for Bill McAnally. Also driving for Mc Anally at Phoenix is Derek Kraus drives for McAnally in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series.

Another NASCAR driver entered is JR Motorsports Xfinity driver Josh Berry driving #17 owned by Steve McGowan makes his first ARCA West Series start and his 6th ARCA Menards start.

ARCA full-time drivers entered include Raja Caruth, Daniel Dye, Nick Sanchez, Amber Balcaen, and Greg Van Alst.

Connor Mosackis running a part-time ARCA schedule this season and is making his first ARCA start with Brett Holmes racing in the #23 car. Connor has had 4 previous ARCA starts resulting in one top 10 and with an average finishing spot of 12.9. Connor’s schedule for this year includes 10 ARCA races and driving for Team SRL in the Trans Am Series.

The race is scheduled to begin at 7:35 ET and you can watch on MAVTV, stream on FloRacing or listen on MRN/SiriusXM channel 391. With all of the coverage available, there is no reason to not follow along tonight.
