Montgomery Motor Speedway

$10,000 to win

Earlier this week Connor Okrzesik received a call and an offer to race for Ben Kennedy.  This is already a winning combination as last year, with 30 laps to go, Okrzesik took lead from Nasse and never looked back.  Okrzesik brought home the checkered flag at the 2021 Rumble by the River.

Bubba Pollard made the long 833-mile trek from Berlin Raceway in Michigan to Montgomery Motor Speedway after finishing second in the Money in the Bank race Thursday night.  The rain had delayed the start of the race at Berlin for one day, pushing the start from Wednesday to Thursday causing Pollard to arrive at Montgomery maybe a little later than anticipated.  Pollard attributed his second-place finish a Berlin to lapped cars and teh lack of respect they showed the leaders. He knew he had the car to beat and was frustrated that he was not able to show that.

Hunter Robbins is currently third in super Series points and already has wins at Montgomery Motor Speedway in the Pro Late car, winning two Show Me the Money Pro Late Model Series races at the track in as many starts including the Alabama 200 in March and the Disturbing the Peace 100 on May 28.

Stephen Nasse will be one to watch tonight as he had motor issues during practice yesterday and brought out his backup car.

The Southern Super Series has 6 races remaining in 2022 including Montgomery Motor Speedway, Tri-County Speedway, New Smyrna, Five Flags, and Crisp Motorsports Park still on the schedule
